Comment: I love this author’s book series. I’ve already read Double Act, Bad Girl, Girls in Tears, Girls out Late. They are all  funny, romantic and always has a happy ending. This book “Girl in Love” was the most fantastic book I ever read in Jacqueline’s books. It was funny, it made me laugh the part Ellie lies to everyone and describes her own imaginary boyfriend. There is also a bit scary part, but still it’s full of romance in the last. I would definitely recommend this book to all young teenage girls, about twelve to thirteen, fourteen. I would like to “Girls in Tears” next!

The Twits – Book review

Title: The Twits

Author: Roald Dahl

Stars: ★★★★☆

Summary: This story is basically about Mr Twits and Mrs. Twits. Which are married and is always doing rude stuffs to the neighbors, kids and animals. The Twits, like I said before, are mad ugly and smelly and nasty. If a ball goes into their yard they steal it. They put glue on trees to catch birds and eat them.  They always does some evil stuffs to each other. For example, Mr Twits makes Mrs. Twits’s stick longer to make her think that she had shrunk. For that revenge, Mrs. Twits makes a ‘worm pasta’ for Mr Twits. Also they have this caged family of monkeys named the Mugglewumps. They even make the Mugglewumps stand on their heads. Then one day the Mugglewumps gets furious and figures out a great plan to escape and get revenge to the Twits.  I really like this story and it’s one of my favorite books of Roald Dahl’s. It’s funny, funny and FUNNY! It made me laugh because it’s really nasty and made me feel that I never want to be like the Twits!

It’s Not The End Of The World – Book review

Title: It’s not the end of the world

Author: Judy Blume

Stars: ★★★★☆

Summary: This book’s main character is Karen. She’s in six grade and has one elder brother Jeff and young sister Amy. Karen’s parents always had a huge fight, and then they decided to have a ‘divorce.’ Karen couldn’t understand her parents why they don’t love each other anymore. While her parents living separately, she tried her best to make them back, but she realize she can’t do anything  better between their parents. After, Jeff ran away from house and Amy cries like a baby, her parents starts another huge fight about Jeff,,, Karen felt very stressful for all this sudden. She couldn’t handle all her family in once, and so on, she finally screams out loud.   After reading this book, I felt sorry for Karen, and all the children whose parents are divorced. I learned that divorce is a better way for parents, but they never actually think about how the children feels. I want all the parents to read this book and let them know how divorce is a stupid thing to do.

“Double Act”

This story’s author is Jaqcueline Wilson.

This story’s main character is Garnet and Ruby. They are both ten-year old twins and are always being together. They look same but different, very identical. They lost their mother three years ago and they have a step mother. Garnet is very shy and quiet person but Ruby likes to do acting. One day, they entered a beauty competition which every twins from the world enters. They were so close to win but gradually lose it. From that day, the twins knew everyone around them are starting to change a lot. Also they started to know being a double act for ever is very hard. Eventually, Garnets moves to a different school and goes to Marnock Heights, and stopped being together with Rudy.

It was little bit long to read, but I really liked the story because it makes me feel happy, sad and angry. The last part was a sad ending but I think the problems are solved so the story was okay. After reading this book I imagined myself  having a twin sister and are always together. I couldn’t imagine myself being twin because, I have older sister and brother. If I were a twin, it must be like Garnet and Ruby because the personality must be different! It’s a very fun story, I prefer this book to elementary students.
