Summary: Percy Jackson thought that he was just an ordinary boy with ADHD and dyslexia until monsters arrive at his field trip and try to kill him. His teacher was always in a wheelchair and that was because he is a centaur in human disguise. He is introduced to Camp Half-Blood and once there, he is accused of stealing Zeus`s master lightning bolt. Poseidon and Zeus will go to war if Percy and his friends, Annabeth and Grover don`t get it back in ten days. They go on a trip to the Underworld, where they think Hades stole it. Along the way, he gets a backpack from Ares and it helps him along the way. Once in the Underworld, they confront Hades but his helm of invisibility was stolen too. Percy will have to find the items of power or else…
Comments: I thought that this was a good book. It was a good length and it had a surprise ending. It was also interesting and filled with action. Also it was suspenseful. I would recommend this book to everyone because it was really good.
